Heating quality issue has been the focus of social concern. Every winter, consumers usually complain about substandard heating quality in the north region. In order to resolve disputes, regulators need to enter people's households and inspect the temperature, which causes not only great inconvenience to the consumer's life but also divergence on the test result between supply and demand owing to a variety of factors that wastes the manpower and can't achieve the desired results. Up to now, there is no good solution in contradiction between supply and demand.In view of the current situation of heating temperature detection system research, in this paper, combined with existing technology, design a low-power multi-channel temperature collection and real-time detection system of which the overall design can be divided into lower-machine temperature collection terminal and PC data management. Lower-machine adopts small and low-power embedded ARM platform based which hardware system is extended, including multi-channel switch circuit, signal conditioning circuit and power circuit. And fully consider the scalability of the hardware. Software design adopt modular development methods, including temperature data collection, channel switch, digital filter algorithm, data processing, compressed storage, Human-Computer Interaction and transmission modules. To enhance system reliability, use the "Watchdog" technology. The system achieves serial transmission and designs network transmission. PC implements database storage, management and printing report forms. The system can provide reliable room temperature for regulators. Meanwhile, by taking the data as the benchmark, heating department can rational dispatch and manage heating system to operate economically and reduce energy consumption.Experiments results show that the system can be long and stable operation and has high reliability, real-time, low-power, low cost and scalability features.
