A Study Of The Dynamic Fuzzy Evaluation Of College Library Digital Collection

With the rapid development of modern information technology, the digital collections of college Libraries become more and more. The digital collections play an very important role in the meeting needs of documents for college teaching and scientific research, and it also has become an important part of the collections of college Libraries. Effective evaluation of digital collections has become one of the key issues to college Libraries collection construction. Scientific and effective evaluation is helpful for providing scientific and objective basis to digital collection construction of college Libraries.In the library evaluation activities, there are so much dynamic fuzzy data, such as:the room condition "getting better gradually",the service attitude "getting worse gradually" and so on; which "gradually" reflects the dynamic, "getting good" and "getting worse" is fuzzy. In the practice of collection evaluation, people often ignore the dynamic fuzzy, or only think of the fuzzy. Dynamic fuzzy evaluation provide the possibillity to deal with dynamic fuzzy data. It can not only reflects the fuzzy degree of ecaluation, but also forecasts the development direction of the results. So the evaluation results could be more comprehensive.First of all, based on indepth research of the status of digital collection evaluation both abroad and at home, the paper clears the concepts of digital collections and digital collections evaluation.Secondly, combined with the characteristics of evaluation, the paper pulls in dynamic fuzzy evaluation to digital collection evaluation.Again, on the base of contingency theory and human-computer interaction theory, the paper construct the evaluation indicator system of college library digital collection, and usees the AHP to determine the indicator weight.Finally, taking Southwest University for example, the paper does a study of Dynamic Fuzzy Evaluation of college library digital collection. By questionnaire method The dynamic fuzzy evaluation data is received by questionnaire method;The evaluation results are calculated by dynamic fuzzy evaluation method; combined with the gathered quantitative data of Southwest University Library digital collection, the researcher deep analysises the evaluation results which including digital collections'scores and it's development trend, andput forward positive reference suggestion for digital collecton construction of Southwest University Library.
