Research On Application Of Energy Transmitting Fiber And Laser Carving Based On Arm

Multi-functional laser engraving machine is the main direction of the development. As embedded systems with the advantages of powerful, good stability, small size, low cost, low power consumption and so on, the embedded system is used into the fiber laser carving machine will be the main means of multi-functional to achieve the Multi-functional laser engraving. This paper mainly researched the control system of energy transmitting fiber and laser carving based on ARM. The Laser carving system which is designed in the paper adopting laser beam delivery system composed of hollow infrared transmitting energy fiber to substitute for traditional complex beam delivery system, as extended carving scope, made maintenance conveniently; also, adopt S3C2440 32-bit ARM embedded microprocessor as controlled core to collect with the engraving machine, it makes the engraving machine permanently, stability, reducing system's cost and so on. This paper mainly researches:Firstly, this paper made a brief introduction to the work principle of the engraving system. According to the system's functional requirements, it designed function of the system.Secondly, it designs detailed to the hardware of the Fiber laser engraving system, it includes the design of ARM interface, peripheral circuits, Stepping Motor and optical system and so on.Lastly, embedded operating system and embedded graphical user interface library is analyzed and compared the advantages and disadvantages. Select for the engraving system Linux and Qt/Embedded programming languages were used as the embedded operating systems and embedded sculpture graphical interface library, and select the object-oriented language C++ as a software programming language. According to the corresponding hardware parts of the system, it designs and programs the software.
