Based on the finite element of engineering electromagnetic analysis software Maxwell, a simulation process of electromagnetic performance of Linear Variable Differential Transformer (LVDT) is analyzed in this paper, a parametric modeling method for electromagnetic simulation is presented based on the script template. First, using the script recording function of Maxwell, the simulation modeling process of LVDT is recorded as a script, and a script template is formed by adding identifiers to the design parameter in the script; second, the identifiers in the script template are dynamically modified to the parameter values which are inputted by designer, and a script file is generated which can be identified by Maxwell; finally, run the generated script in Maxwell, and a parametric modeling of simulation model will be achieved.After researching the parametric modeling method for electromagnetic simulation of LVDT, LVDT Expert Design System is designed and developed on the platform of C++ Builder in this paper. Structure design, electromagnetic performance simulation and optimization of LVDT are integrated on the unified platform by this system, the conformity of design data and design flow is achieved as well, this system can help designer complete the LVDT design systematically and collaborative, and the feasibility of the system is verified by an example. Friendly man-machine interactive interface of this system provides a simple and convenient operation flow and intuitive simulation result evaluation for the design of LVDT, and improves the efficiency of designing LVDT, it also has wide application prospect in the study of new sensors. |
