With the rapid development of microwave technology, the range of applications ofmicrowave devices become more and more widely, and its performance requirementsare also getting higher and higher. In order to satisfy the design requirements, thereemerged a lot of electromagnetic simulation softwares (such as CST, Ansoft HFSS, etc.),but most of the simulation software on the device design and simulation is independentof each other and no phase relevanceļ¼Œand different simulation software simulation getsolution and accuracy is different. If require different solution will have to choosedifferent simulation software to design, this not only makes the designer mustrepeatability model, but also greatly reduces the efficiency of simulation design.This paper mainly studies the design is based on the electromagnetic simulationsoftware CST and Ansoft HFSS, through to learn these two kinds of electromagneticsimulation software, and to research their modeling idea and modeling method, wedevelop and design a new model transformation interface software. The modeltransformation interface software chosen C++Builder6.0as a development tool, first ofall,we according to the functional requirements and the order of operations, arrangedlayout reasonable, and design operation window interface of the model transformationinterface software; and then based on the modeling thought and modeling method ofelectromagnetic simulation software CST and Ansoft HFSS, we put forward a methodof parametric design to achieve model transformation function, the method consists oftwo main parts: parameter parsing and scripting templates; Finally, we to test the designcompleted interface software, and verify its feasibility.The model transformation interface software realizes the model transformationbetween electromagnetic simulation software CST and Ansoft HFSS, to avoidrepeatability modeling, and to maintain the consistency on the shape, size, parameters,properties before and after the model transformation. This not only improves theefficiency of the product development collaboration designed, but also has broadapplication prospects in the field of electromagnetic simulation design.
