The object of study in this paper is a large reflector antenna, which will be deformed in varieties of external factors, such as self-gravity, sun, ice, wind, rain and so on. In this case, the precision of the antenna will reduce significantly. So the accurate measurement of the structure of the large reflector antenna is necessary. In this paper, the method of image measurement is used by measuring its key points to analyze its accuracy.Firstly, by summing up the theory of the binocular stereo vision and analyzing the structure of the large reflector antenna, a feasible method of the actual measured 3m antenna model is put forward.Secondly, by analyzing the characteristics of VRML modeling and simulation based on the measurement of the actual problems, the simulation and analysis are made by the antenna model using VRML. This paper adopts the parallel binocular stereo vision, simplifies the camera calibration, identifies and extracts the joints of the antenna as the feature points, and uses the method of the epipolar geometric constraint to achieve the stereo matching. Thus the large reflector antenna could be three-dimensionally measured, and its measurement accuracy is also analyzed. Finally, the random deformation of the surface model of the antenna is measured and analyzed by using this method, which has a certain reference value for the actual project. In this paper, by recognizing and analyzing the large reflector antennas, a image measurement based on the antenna design is researched, which has a certain reference value for the measurement and analysis of the reflector antenna.
