Shooting gallery measurement technology is a hot spot of various nations'military research departments all the times, with the constant development of computer technology, modern measurement technology have developed by leaps and bounds, especially of no-contacting measurement technologies. Binocular stereo vision is an important branch of them. The research target of binocular stereo vision is that makes machine have the ability that can recognize three dimensions environment information from two dimensions image information, which can not only perceive geometric information in the three dimensions environment, but also can process this information, including description, storage, recognition and comprehension.A system of measurement is proposed and implement in this paper, which is based on the theory of binocular stereo vision. Firstly the author establish system model, and optimize the parameters and methods of system distribution station. Subsequently, we simplify calibration model and conclude calibration formulas of camera, and do a research and analysis of two kinds of drone identification technologies. And then we process the video frequency which we early photographed from the shooting gallery with image processing technology, and extract target we are interested successfully and calculate its pixel coordinates. Finally we develop a software test system making use of Matlab. The results indicated that the method we used in this paper is very effective, which provide guarantee for the late work.
