| Being one of the most important devices in high precision strapdown inertial system today, Laser gyro(LG) have been widely used in martial and commercial fields. The ring gas laser is the core component of LG, which lifetime and reliability determine the lifetime of LG.. The conventional tests for estimating the working life take a long time and are of disadvantage to determining the product quality.In order to find out the lifetime test method and the theory model of life estimate of ring He-Ne laser, estimate the life time of ring He-Ne laser under normal working conditions in a short time. Based on studying and analyzing the existing theories and experimental results, accelerated life test for ring He-Ne lasers has been made. According to the failure mechanism of ring He-Ne laser working under normal conditions, we choose electric current as the accelerated stress of our test, think the lifetime distribution of ring He-Ne laser obey Weibull function under normal working electric current and accelerated electric current, the accelerated function can be used to describe the anti-power law model.Least-square method and best linear unbiased estimation were used to process the data of test, the shape parameter of Weibull function and the characteristic lifetime in different accelerated electric currents can be determined. Then according to the anti-power law model, the lifetime in the normal working current can be calculated. The results shows that the assumption is correct and the characteristic life of ring He-Ne laser working at normal electric current can be calculated through that at high electric current, effectively shortened the time of the test. |
