This thesis is devoted to the design of system software for the bistatic lidar system. It meets the system requirements, such as scan controlling, signal reception and processing and object locating. The objecting locating formula is derived in detail on the basis of the specific structure of the scanning and lunching system. Based on this, the software named lidar system scan controlling and objects locating software is developed. Though the high-speed serial communication, it can get the rotary position of the swivel and the optical distance real-time, which can be used to locate the object. Based on the method of spatial synchronization in the bistatic lidar, the software called the lidar detecting airspace analyzing software is provided. It provides a numerical basis for the receiving system designing and positioning. In addition, based on the parameters of the receiving optical system and the measuring results of the detector responsivity, the practical and convenient software is designed to calculate and measure the echo power according to the lidar equation. The above-mentioned software are used to accomplish such functions in the lidar system as scan controlling, object locating, experimental data processing, etc. They meet the system requirements well.
