Lidar has the characteristics of high resolution, high anti-jamming abilityand canbe used to get three-dimensional image. Therefore, lidar has found many applicationsin civil and military equipments. It can be used to distance measuring, precisiontracking, orientation, guiding, fuze sensing, weather measure, underwatercommunication and detecting. The characteristics of the bistatic lidar could besummarized as three aspects :(1) Separating emitting system and receiving system; (2)Receiving diffuse reflection signal from object; (3) Measuring three angles to getdistance. With the rapid development of the multistatique radar, the multistatique lidaralso has emerged and has becoming one of international investigation and applicationdomains. This paper is devoeted to the research on the receiving optical system, a veryimportant part ofmultistatiquelidarsystem.Accordingtothesimpleconfigurationandlow cost, we have designed the receiving optical of the monostatic and bistatic lidarand mechanism systems by means of ZEMAX optical designing software and haveevaluated their performance. Some experiments on the main parameters have beenmadewiththe receiving optical ofthemonostatic andbistaticlidardesigned. Basedonthe elementary principle of the monostatic and bistatic lidar, we survey those opticalsystem signals. The experiments provethat theoptical system satisfies the requirementofthelidarsystem.
