Along with many coast countries hardly developing marine resources, it has urgently needs to develop the marine environment monitoring and disaster data analysis system, and research on its real-time ability and reliability, which will help maintain the rights and interests of marine, explore marine resource, make marine disasters forecast, protect marine environment and seek new development space.Our research background is to build up an ocean data acquisition and transmission platform based on Agent technology. The platform is supposed to provide stable and reliable services, such as to receive data, reception, store, and send, and to provide a wireless transmission environment support. Oriented to these requirements, this thesis first introduces the background and the related theory knowledge of Agent and Multi-Agent System, and discusses communication that is the key technology of cooperation between agents, mainly studies communication models based Knowledge Query and Manipulation Language(KQML).First, this thesis imports Agent Oriented Petri Net to simplify the scale of the system's model. After analysis of the model, we know more about the working flow of system.As an actual criterion of language of Agent Communication Language, KQML is adaptable and expansible. As an emphasis, this thesis researches the expansion of the performartives of KQML to realize the communication among Agents in nodes of ocean data acquisition and transmission platform.In the literature of MAS there are three main categories, known as agent behavior theory, agent architecture and collaboration among agents that is focused on how agents can effectively interact, notably negotiation, as a useful mechanism to get a beneficial result for both sides in the course of collaboration, becoming more inviting to researchers. This thesis researches the analysis of basic thought, run mechanism and shortcoming in traditional Contract Net Protocol (CNP), combines with advantage of KQML and CNP, and provides a CNP model based communication server.Last but not least, the thesis discusses the practical development of platform based on Agent, and gives out the major system modules, system communication mechanism and the flow of software design. More services can be realized and expanded on the basis of the platform.
