This thesis presents a variety of modeling methods,and combines with optimization methods to optimize the software architecture of embedded database (EDB) condition monitoring with the research and development of EDB as the background.Object-oriented method is used in the phase of model designing and component-oriented method is used to solve the problem of software reusability.Design pattern is used to optimize the architecture,and collaborative computing method is deeply discussed in every phase of software designing.The using of Agent and KQML focuses on upgrading of software's intelligence and initiative.The research and development of EDB is very popular in the field of embedded software, and condition monitoring on EDB is further more difficult and crucial. This research made a great significance on the embedded software research and high performance and platform of embedded application. At first , starting from summing up the methods on condition monitoring in history, the new method which suit to EDB was given, and the theoretical foundation of Agent representation method and cooperative computing method was explained, and the tools of model building was shown.Secondly, in the step of Analysis and designing, referencing to OSA-CBM architecture, the model of condition monitor's business workflow was given, followed by the description of BPEL. After analysis, the use case diagram and activity diagram was set up. To raise the efficiency of the algorithm of rules match, Rete algorithm was improved and elaborated. In the part of domain designing, class diagram of condition monitor was provided, and it was optimized by design patterns, soon after the precedence diagram and condition diagram was shown up, assisted by detailed explanation.At last, with talking about software architecture, condition monitor architecture was proposed, and components in this architecture were described. Software model optimization method was used to optimize the existent architecture with elaborating advantages. This thesis creatively proposed architecture of condition monitor based on Cooperative Agent and described this architecture using the idea of component. This thesis even deeply investigated kinds of model optimization method and detailed how contract net, negotiation model, task scheduling and Agent representation method make sense.The proposed method of condition monitoring and architecture based on Cooperative Agent was started to use in EDB, and it has theoretical significance and engineering practical value.
