Compared with conventional fixture methods, the proposed method for the honeycomb core fixture, based on magnetic fields and tribology theory, has many excellent characteristics such as credible fixture, convenient operation, pollution free, low cost, etc. The key technique which the new method is used in production is the development of fixture equipment. And the automation of the fixture equipment will affect the efficiency. In this thesis, a control system has been developed for the new fixture equipment. The work has been done in this thesis as following.Firstly, the machine of the new fixture equipment was introduced briefly. The machine structure and the work theory of the Magnetic Platform, the Impacted Device and the Filling Mechanism were analyzed in detail. In order to be autocontrolled by computer, the control electromotors were used in the equipment as the driver. And the fixture technics process was proposed.Secondly, analysed the control requirement, then developed a open loop control system using stepper motor, and adpoted master-slavery structure using computer and control card. The hardwares such as Stepper Motor, Stepping Motor Control Card and PC were selected. And the electric was designed. And then the key techniques such as the absolute reference frame of filling machine, the point-to-point controlled of the Filling Mechanism, the point-to-point controlled of the Magnetic Platform and the Impacted Device were studied.Thirdly, a software with a user-friendly interface was developed to monitor and control the control system of the new fixture equipment. The software was divided into 7 modules: Initialization Module, Motion Control Module, Path Programming Module, States Watching Module, Safety Protecting Module, Parameters Setting Module and HMI Module.Lastly, based on researches mentioned above, a honeycomb core fixture equipment, including mechanical system, control system, and control software has been assembled successfully. Then a field debugging of the fixture equipment mechanisms and a filling experiment have been conducted, all have achieved desirable results.
