Knowledge Engineering In Traditional Chinese Medicine

The knowledge engineer practices the art of bringing the principles and tools of AI research to bear on difficult applications problems requiring experts' knowledge for their solution. The applications of knowledge engineering in field of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is going ahead with full stream. This paper introducts a system named DartOnto Platform, which is the cooperation project between CCNT Lab and china academy of Chinese medical sciences. Its subsystems include OntoTool system integrating of existing databases and semantic network ontology, DartWiki Semantic Wiki which is upper application of OntoTool, TCM basic theory ontology Wuxing Model and its application system, and public health ontology Epidemic Febrile Disease Model and its application system.
