Yang Shoujing's Edition And Bibliography Research

Yang Shoujing(1839—1915)is a famous expert of edition and bibliography at the latter of Qing Dynasty, who was born in Yidu Hubei province and formerly known as Yang Kaike, Pengyun words, and he has made great achievements on epigraphy, geography and other areas. Not only has he inaugurated the geography of Li subject, but also his success is equal to the mavin of Han Dynasty and Wei Dynasty in calligraphy. The second part introduces Yang Shoujing's magnum opus Search the Book in Japan and make conclusion to the value of catalog with the exception of systematic analysis of the characteristics of their problem-solving. The thesis has a detailed description and analysis on the special list and editing results before Tang Dynasty. On the basic of the achievement Yang Shoujing has made, the thesis has evaluated objectively his contribution which he introduced abundant Chinese books in Japan and established applied Directory Classification System etc.
