The academic research scope of Yang Shoujing is very extensive, especially in areas of historical geography, edition catalogue, epigraphic calligraphy, proofread compilation and so on. There are many articles and books subjected on areas mentioned above, but the situation about Yang Shoujing's collected books is not sufficiently referred to. Till now, there are 13 books recording Yang's collected books, this paper aimed to research deeply on collected books of Yang's Guanhaitang on the base of reorganizing a new Guanhaitang bibliography by using historical data that seldom researched.The main substances of this article are listed as follows:Chapter one: Main line of this chapter is Yang's life on searching and collecting of books, introduce the source of Yang's book collection from two sides: searching for ancient books when he was youth in capital and searching for ancient books when he on middle age in Japan, emphasizing on searching for ancient books in Japan .Show the general process of Yang's stance of travel in Japan by scribing the progress of his searching and reasons of his success.Chapter two: Firstly, introduce several editions of Guanhaitang bibliography and Linsuyuan bibliography which Yang had seen, preparing the basic stone for reorganizing Yang's book collection. Secondly, I introduce the concrete organizing procedures and process of Yang's collection, create a new catalogue of Yang's books, which can generally reflect situation of Yang's collection.Chapter three: the new catalogue can basically show the complete picture of Yang's book collection. Yang's collection contains 5132 kinds, 8724 sections, 157051 volumes, it's a huge number, especially so many valuable editions in it. The"Japan block-printed edition"and large number of"medicine book"among these valuable books can show the character of Yang's collection, these two kinds of books have high value in fields of edition and history. The main parts of this chapter are going to research on"Japan block-printed edition"and"medicine book"of Yang's book collection.
