At present, the digital IF receiver based on software radio architecture is gradually mature. Compared with the traditional analog radar receivers, the digital radar receivers not only can deal with different signals flexibly, but also has more reliability and stability. So it has important significance to design software radio architecture based digital receivers with stability and good performance. Further more, the design of digital IF receiver can provide a good reference for digitizing the analog radar equipments.According to the requirement of the project "development of XXX model digital radar receiver", the key technologies and implementation of digital radar receiver is deeply studied in this thesis. The main work is as follows:1) Briefly introduce the principle and fundamental structure of software radio, the principle of superheterodyne radar receiver and basic theories of digital receiver.2) Expatiate idea of the overall design, the composition and the work-flow of digital IF receiver. At the same time, the schemes of signal extracting, the principle and main functions of this system are discussed.3) Design and implement FPGA unit, and mainly discuss DSP part.4) Design and implement DSP unit, and emphasize on the building of hardware platform and signal processing functions of DSP, including carrier searching, carrier tracking, AGC controlling, tachometer signal extracting and so on.
