With the development of the aviation technology and the control theory, an integrated flight simulation platform that could simulate different kinds of aircraft plays an increasingly important role in the theoretical research work, such as aircraft modeling and flight control algorithms, etc.In this dissertation, according to domestic researches on flight simulation platform and the actual demand of research project, based on UML object-oriented modeling methods, comprehensive utilization of network communications and 3D visual simulation, a distributed universal 3D flight simulation platform was built in LAN and .NET Framework environment. The platform includes the 3D visual presentation node, the real-time data charting and analysis node and the main simulation node. This dissertationis a summary of the research work in a research project.First of all, the dissertation gives the requirements analysis and architecture design of the flight simulation systems, presents a preliminary introduction of the design philosophy, design principles and methods. Secondly, presents an introduction of the flight simulation models related to manipulator, body movement, disturbance and numerical algorithm. Then, the detailed design and implementation process of each node of the platform is given, using one chapter respectively. Finally, summarizes the design and realization of the flight simulator platform, and gives some of the recommendations for the further development.By designing suitable interfaces for models related to flight simulation, the platform can be applied to simulating a variety of aircraft. Need to add new aircraft to the platform, the data charting and analysis node does not need to be modified, all you need to do is create a new 3D model for the 3D visual presentation node and a physical model for the main simulation node. The changes to the entire platform are very small, which greatly reduces the data and code redundancy, improves the universal availability of different aircraft. Using distributed architecture, function nodes can be easily added to or removed from the platform, which enhances function scalability of the platform.
