Delay Tolerent Mobile Wireless Sensor Networks (DTMSN) are special wireless communication networks which is composed of lots of nodes with low cost and simple structure. These nodes can be easy to be deployed without any fixture.They can be able collect information under a variety of occasions accurately and comprehensively,so which changes the way of interaction between man and nature.Since almost all nodes are supported by battery which are difficult to be supplied, meanwhile delay torelent mobile wireless sensor network can not be connected stably,every node must carry a large numble of data packages,moreover all nodes have limited storage capacity,energy efficiency and data efficiency become the most important goals in designing delay tolerant mobile wireless sensor networks. Furthermore energy-efficiency and data-efficiency design are also significant for decreasing network maintenance cost and saving natural resources.This thesis investigates the hotspots of the research on the power-saving and data-efficiency protocols for DTMSN, studies two energy-efficiency and data-efficie- ncy issues on the MAC layer and the NETWORK layer protocols. The main results and innovations of the thesis are as follows:1) Proposes an energy-saved protocol ESMAC:First,we add the mode identifier which indicates the surplus storage capacity to the frame structure of mac protocol.The nodes send detecting packages between the neighborhoods to find the conflicting sets,which avoids the power-consumed because of competing the wireless channels.Meanwhile,by detecting data packages and ack data packages,the other nodes knows that it is neither a sending node nor a receiving node,they switch themselves to sleep mode automatically,which reduces the idle listen consumption of energy.By means of the trials,we find that ESMAC can avoid overhearing and contention and save powers,prolong the lifetime of DTMSN network compared to the other MAC protocols.2) Proposes a based on prediction routing protocols BPR:First,we establish the communication model by research on the nodes' mobile rules before,then we predict the meeting time themselves according to the communic- ation model.While the nodes are meeting,they exchange their summery vector, then they swap the topology information which they don't have each other.,finally,every node have the same topology information.Second,we estimate the other link-states routing Value on the assumption that the Value between the two nodes was infinity,t- hen we check the information in the cashe,and decide if we send the data packages by the useful connection.By means of the simulations,BPR can increase the data reach rate, reduce the transmission delay and use little routing spending.
