With the development of modern commerce and the constantly speeding of the pace of our life, people have to complete much business in the state of non-office or moving. With the development of mobile e-commerce and mobile database technology, upgrading of the mobile terminal hardware (such as PDA, PPC, etc), as well as the supporting of wireless networks, people resolve the request is no longer a difficulty.Firstly, the subject discussed and summarized the mobile database features and performance, studied its data distribution and replication, query processing, transaction models. According to the characteristics of e-commerce transaction, the paper studied the actual problems of data transmission and data query management, and then discussed the basic model of the mobile database applications in e-commerce.Secondly, according to overall framework of the actual e-commerce system and the business needs of background system, the paper extracted several related data tables which were different from them of the background database and the overall business processes in the practical application, in order to operating and using more appropriately for mobile environment.Finally part is the actual development of the mobile database and the client programming. The development environment used the.NET framework, means of communication used the Web Services technology, mobile database used the SQL CE, the end result enables the data synchronizing between the client-side SQL CE and SQL Server of the server-side and completing related transactions of e-business applications online, while using mobile database manage local goods data offline.In summary, the subject completed the development and application of mobile database in the phone terminal special environment.
