Benefiting from the development of network technology and mobile communication technology, application based on mobile computing devices becomes phones more and more popular. Personal Digital Assistants(PDA), mobile phones and so on, are being used popularly to do business wherever. Application data master database can be downloaded to mobile hand held devices from system, and can be accessed and updated offline. It synchronizes with the master database from time to time when the connection is available. Therefore, a new technology of mobile database emerges as time requires, and has become a dynamic and exciting topic.The Mobile Database is a branch of the study of Distributed Database and Distributed computing. The Mobile Database can be thought as the extension of the traditional Distributed Database. But as the different characteristics between the Mobile computing and the traditional Distributed computing, the technique for Distributed Database can't be used in Mobile Database completely.The advancement of mobile database system meets the requirement of data process in mobile computing environment. The replication mobile database system using the data replication and data synchronization technologies is a very important model of mobile database, which supports the data operations on mobile devices in disconnected situations. In such a mobile database model, the key issue is how to replicate and synchronize the data more efficiently while ensuring the data consistency.Firstly, this paper introduces several key technologies used in Mobile Database, focusing on the study of data replication, cache and data consistency. Based on the above knowledge we put forward a new strategy to handle the disconnected operation, this strategy separately studied on the data management on cache in mobile client and data synchronization, furthermore, it combines two aspects to attain the data accessing validity for mobile client in disconnected situation and committing probability of temporary transaction reprocessed in the server.Furthermore, this paper introduces the architecture and main module in MIS,focusing on the schedule module that applied in Mobile Database theoretically.
