The Application And Research On XML Data Exchange In Yunnan Maritime System

During the period of Yunnan maritime management information construction, early phase there exitsts big difference as independent development construction period, department, equipment and techniques in every informatization branch construction degree and way. But these different systems can not exchange data from one to another one, so they come into being some "information island". One of question must solve in the Yunnan maritime management information construction is the effective data how to be in progress exchange in every branch information system.This paper studies the existence primal problem is data exchange at present about informatization construction of Yunnan maritime management have problem, and the paper gives a program which sets up basic database and another business systems for data exchange. This program can not only make upper management to get effective data to decision support, but also facilitates the business systems to query relevant basic information. Because the basic database and business systems use XML as middle data format to exchange data, the technology basis suggesting that one kind of new data exchanges model, being related to in in-depth study XML and Java. Then this paper expounds the design and realization of four main parts in the model. These parts are data extraction, data analysis, data storage and data transmission safety control. This paper main combines with the characteristics of water transportation to formulate strategies. For example, according to the ministry data released water to set which has maritime characteristics of XML Schema standards, or according to the standards of water data compilation JAVA tools for data storage for further verification.Finally, this model and strategy has applied to Yunnan maritime management system. It achieves data exchange and sharing between the basic database and business systems, and solves "information island" problem. Since it has worked, the system is stable and the effect was good, so it can be for other provinces of waterway information system provides reference data exchange. This paper also brings forward the improvement works on the model from the practical and perfect direction.
