Research On Information Exchange Prototype System Of VTS

With the rapid development of computer information technology and the increasing of maritime traffic. China's VTS has also rapidly developed, and the VTS has been established in a lot of ports along the coast; however, because each VTS center uses a different manufacturer's systems, so the standard of information is uneven, and poor information sharing and exchange of channels form a number of "information island", thus causing the center of each VTS can not make full use of information resources. Meanwhile, the rapid development of shipping business makes the demand of the exchange of information between China's VTS system more and more pressing.In this paper, the phenomenon of domestic and foreign situation on VTS information exchange system is conducted in-depth research, and it propose a data format which is more suited to China's VTS information exchange; based on the Push/ Pull and Web Service and other techniques, a framework of VTS information exchange system is founded, and through a specific example to test the feasibility of the structure.The main contents of this paper include:1. This paper discusses the VTS system features, the kind of information and exchange protocol, and put forward a more suitable information exchange between our VTS system data format by comparing data format of exchange information of the VTS between China and other countries.2. This paper studies the Web Service, Push/Pull and other key technologies, on the basis a VTS system of information exchange architecture is put forward, and a sending strategy of VTS information and a simple exchange protocol are designed.3) This data format of VTS information and the feasibility of VTS information exchange system architecture are verified by a prototype system. The prototype system contains the formation of the network, server-side design, the client's design and user management and so on.This research results provide a prototype reference for the exchange of information on the VTS.
