With the development of economy and maritime industry in our country, the number of transport vessels on sea is increasing. Maritime communication equipment plays an important role in day sailing and navigation distress alert system. But in some occasions such as larger number of cluster operations and aiding on the sea, it's hard to avoid the channel jam and call blocked as the result of poor coordination between the ships. In view of this situation, it is a great urgency to build a low-cost, stable and highly-active maritime communication system. The maritime communication system came up with and initially implemented to the plan of applying the concept of Mobile Ac Hoc Networks to maritime mobile communication based on Widely used by marine VHF communication equipment. The main task of the thesis is to build a Ship wireless terminal information service system according to the whole maritime communication system. In this thesis, firstly, on the analysis of the maritime communications system, it introduced briefly the design parameters of the system, programs, and implementation of hardware and software. Later, it theoretically demonstrated that the system should use the kind of architecture, and analysis of the system design process and gives a brief introduction of the key technology used. And then, on the basis of the above analysis, The PC and MCU's serial communications subsystem, the information query subsystem, real-time information display subsystem, chart display subsystem, subsystems such as maintenance of the design information are designed and planed wireless network throughout the maritime terminal information service system all round. At last, the implementation of the whole system and the text of the system were discussed. After laboratory tests, a wireless terminal information service system were achieved and through the identification of V model test system, we have met the needs of maritime communications system.
