CB60-G Blade Server Product Test And Evaluation Based On Intel Nehalem Architecture

With the rapid development of high-performance computing, server systems has been widely applied in aerospace, oil exploration, weather forecasting, of which blade servers are also showing a rapid growth trend. CB60-G is the third generation dual-server products, which is newly server products of high stability, high availability, scalability, high-density and high-performance.Testing and evaluation process of CB60-G blade server product based on Intel Nehalem architecture, which is an essential step running from R&D to production and then to use in the process. This article start from the Intel Nehalem micro architecture to dawn blade server functionality and the Module, then to testing process of blade server products CB60-G, including almost all of the testing process associated with the server.This testing process play an imortant part in Blade Server's planning, development and application.Testing process is a main part of this article,including CPU,memory,I/O,network information research.The main topics include the following:1.Analyze Dawning Blade server's current situation and the role of each module and CB60-G blade servers based on Intel Nehalem;2.The latest research of Intel 45nm Nehalem architecture, including the previous generation architecture's changes in structure of the major innovations of this generation and the analysis of advantages;3.Application of a variety of server software optimization techniques, integrated CPU, memory, I/O, network information on a comprehensive analysis, the correlation analysis summarized CB60-G blade server reliability and overall performance of the general;4.Analysis of data, analysis evaluation, compared to the previous generation architecture server performance.Upon completion of this study, by analyzing the results, I summarized Intel Nehalem architecture CPU features and changes, obtained CB60-G blade server product and process specifications of the test results. For the next generation blade server to provide an effective test methods and performance evaluation.
