Along with the enterprise information level's unceasing promotion, each kind of application system is developed gradually toward the standard order's operational channel procedure direction. The workflow technology has been playing very important role in these applications'development. Because the traditional workflow technology can only manage and control the enterprise boundary internal applications, and can't step the enterprise cross platform to complete the more complex operation flow, so it is facing a very big challenge.Regarding this question, and by the storehouse supply chain system's actual project background, it uses the technology superiority of Web Services to design and develop a concrete storehouse supply chain application system, in which the workflow system reference model based on Web Service is used. The workflow technologies and the related concepts, the model and the workflow management system is firstly analyzed in the paper. Then it Summarizes the question which the workflow technology facing at present, and proposes extension solution of the workflow using the Web Service technology cross enterprises. Then it analyzes the structure and main modules of the workflow management system , by the reference to the system based on Web Services. Finally it designs the storehouse supply chain system, and has completed the development and testing of the system. The test results indicates that the system can transmit data and operate alternately between the storehouse system and the supplier'application, and has achieved the goal that the new workflow can work cross enterprise, the cross platform by the Web Service.
