Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) is the third generation broadcast following the AM, FM broadcast, which is updated to DAB+, that uses highly efficient coding technology named HE-AAC v2. DAB+ receiver receives the audio data which quality is no bad than CD, but takes up less bandwidth and is compressed in a higher rate. Even more it is suitable for portable, high-speed mobile receiver. DAB+ makes foundation in the development of digital broadcasting. This paper researches, transplants and optimizes the HE-AAC v2 audio coding algorithm based on digital audio broadcasting system.HE-AAC v2 algorithm is one of the most popular and highly efficient digital audio coding algorithms. According to the standard of MPEG-4 AAC and two amended version after, we analyze coding and decoding algorithm of HE-AAC v2 and implement the decoding of the audio data stream in DAB+ system, which includes the audio data of HE-AAC v2. Then we transplant the decoding algorithm into the 32-bit embedded CPU: ckcore and optimize it with the SoftSIMD technology that I improved to achieve the expected performance.Finally, we concluded, and expected the work that completed and not completed. We have faith that the DAB+ system and the technology of HE-AAC v2 digital audio codec algorithm have a better and better future all over the world.
