Research And Implementation Of Dunhuang Fresco Information Semantic Retrieval System Based On Ontology

Dun Huang frescoes are invaluable civilization legacies of the world, and they have highly history, art and social values. The objects of figure, raiment, architecture and animals in Dunhuang Frescos are very important for the research of Dunhuang studies, art creation as well as digital display. At the same time, the literatures of Dunhuang frescos are important part of Dunhuang frescos. With the improvement of Dunhuang information digitalization, researchers could research DunHuang frescos and literatures. As the increasing of the digitalized literatures about DunHuang frescos, the problem how to retrieve the images quickly and how to relate the frescos and literatures automatically became imperatively and importantlyIn order to resolve the problem discuss above, we propose Dunhuang frescos information semantic retrieval system based on ontology, and in this paper we complete three area about the system.Firstly, Dunhuang frescos retrieval based on ontology. Under the konwledge of the domain experts, we construct and implement the ontology of Dunhuang frescos. And complete the Dunhuang frescos retrieval based on the ontology that constructed before. At the end, we complete the semantic retrieval of Dunhuang frescos.Secondly, Relate the Dunhuang frescos and literatures about Dunhuang frescos automatically. This part of work is to construct the full-text index of Dunhuang frescos literatures using the annotation of dunhuang frescos, and complete the Retrieval Dunhuang frescos literatures using the ontology of Dunhuang frescos and full-text retrieval.Thirdly, Demonstrate the Dunhuang Frescos using the technologies of Web2.0. The work of this part is aim at displaying the Dunhuang frescos information center on Dunhuang frescos, and finally provide user-friendly interface.At the end, develop the prototype system of Dunhuang frescos information. The result shows the prototype system implement the retrieval of Dunhuang frsecos well, the relations between Dunhuang frescos and frescos literatures are constructed well, and the demonstration of Dunhuang frescos information also worked well.
