The text information is a kind of information which exists in the form of the unstructured or the semi-structured. We do the semantic retrieval for this information which has a certain structure. And we call the retrieval process as semantic retrieval based on text information. With the rapid development of the computer network technology, more and more people select to use the internet to search their own needed knowledge. Therefore, the information retrieval has become one of the hottest researches at present. On the basis of the information retrieval, aiming at the structural characteristics of text information, information retrieval for the text case becomes the current research hot-spot.In this paper, we study the text case information retrieval which is based on the automobile domain ontology. The target of this paper is to achieve the semantic retrieval of the text case information in automobile repair domain. According to retrieving the case for the semantic level in automobile repair domain, it can improve the efficiency and the accuracy for the information retrieval.Firstly, this paper analyzed the demand of the automobile repair domain and arranged the knowledge of this domain. Then, we gave the construction process of the automobile domain ontology. Secondly, this paper introduced the text case information of the automobile repair field, the retrieval model and the retrieval method etc. Finally, according to studying and analyzing the semantic retrieval algorithm, we proposed the semantic retrieval algorithm which was based on the domain ontology. Then, according to the experiment, it verified the efficiency and the superiority of the algorithm which was proposed in this paper.
