Research On Ontology-Based Transportation Network Information Retrieval Techniques

In the digital information resources of the Internet for interactive artery of the 21st century, rapid and effective access to useful information has become increasingly difficult, simply because of their lack of available data semantic information. In view of this situation, ontology which can describe the model of domain's concepts has good hierarchical-structure of concepts and supports for logical inference, can provide semantic support for information query, for achieving the semantic information query.An aim at key techniques of semantic retrieval system, the dissertation gives our solutions which establish the theory basis for implementation of a semantic retrieval system. These key techniques include domain ontology construction, inference expansion query and semantic packaging.The dissertation proposes a framework of research on ontology -based transportion network information retrieval. It also describes design idea and process of the semantic information retrieval system in detail, and develops a research on ontology -based transportion network information retrieval prototype system which is based on ontology under the semantic Web environment, its goal is mainly the exploration of realizing semantic retrieval, and accumulating correlation theories and technical for realizing practical semantic retrieval system.
