Developments of MIS have supposed higer and higer demands for interface design. Generally, interface design refers to mutual operation with database,so, developers are required with coding base and extensive professional knowledge. Traditional design pattern neglects the property of reuse and customization and leads to lengthen the development cycle. It is necessary to grogram lots of codes generally because most existing interface development tools are designed aiming at professional developer.So,it has very important meaning to study a usable,customizable and visable user interface customization development platform .In this paper, based of the analyzing of MIS user interface development backgroud and investigation status inside and outside, Arming to the disvantages existing in traditional MIS system interface development, considering the system's expansibility,reuse,a universal dynamic interface generation platform is designed which is based of B/S model and data dictionary ,that is UDPDD platform,and it is highligtened introduced that the design and implement process of user interface automatic generation.Users just need to add the corresponding table to the database and add the information to the data dictionary on the visual interface operation platform through UDPDD System, then the data interactive interface can be customized realization and does not programme.A comprehensive of this paper, using MVC design pattern to build UDPDD platform, a easy to learn and fully visable usre interface development tool is designed and developed.The innovation of this paper is to use data dictionary to describe the structure and properties of the table and study the data dictionary–oriented universal interface application,making the disposal of table is independent of table structure through the unified description of table structure so as to satisfy users'demands and reduce interface development time, software development and maintenance complexity and improve software reuse.Now, this platform has been perfectly used inVolkswagen FAW Engine (DaLian) Corporation.
