Research Of Declaration And Examination And Approval System For Sent Abroad On Official Duty

With growing exchanges between foreign, demand for go abroad on business are more and more. For this reason, Ministry of Foreign Affairs commissioned by a company has developed a software for dealing with the formality of overseas,and promoted it nationwide.But it can only deal with the final formality of overseas, and can not handle a large number of overseas applications and the approval of these applications work every year. Practice in the past is every organization put the application to the Foreign Affairs Office(FAO), and staff of FAO will print out the applications for manual processing. Manual not only reduced the efficiency of approval,but also waste a lot of manpower and time, and bring a lot of pressure for the statistics. Based on this situation, we developmented a Declaration and Examination System for Going Abroad on Business Commissioned by the FAO.This paper discusses the entire software development process of the Declaration and Examination and Approval System for Sent Abroad on Official Duty, and have four parts total. The first part is one of the priorities of this article, this part discusses the system requirements. It includes the function of the system description, performance requirements, security requirements, data analysis, and customer's existing hardware and so on.The requirements is developer summarized based on trying to understand the customer's business rules,because the customers there is no professionals participate in the requirements discussions,and make a number of amendments subsequently.The second part of this paper discusses the outline design of the system, is also the focus of this article.This part didn't discussed the structure of each module, interface and other details because of the project being a Web software project, and then allocated the functions to each module,and then planning a number of pages for each module,and then each page to complete one or several Function. At last, this part discusses the database design. This part includes system design, the planning of the pages, database design.The third part of this paper made a brief introduction for system implementation.This part includes introduce development principles, show running interface and so on. The last part of this paper discusses the software testing process. The software is so small that testing didn't use specialized test tools. This part includes testing master plan, testing item description,such as functional test, performance test and so on.Because of limited conditions, the project use the agile software development. Agile software development is a software development capability of response to the rapidly changing requirements.It generally promote a disciplined project management process that encourages frequent inspection and adaptation, a leadership philosophy that encourages teamwork, self-organization and accountability, a set of engineering best practices that allow for rapid delivery of high-quality software, and a business approach that aligns development with customer needs and company goals.The limited conditions include developers can only use their spare time to develop the project, Customer requests to delivered declaration functional in advance, requirements is not clear and so on. All of the above have determined that using agile software development is the most suitable.After intensely development, the Declaration and Examination and Approval System for Sent Abroad on Official Duty has been delivered successfully,and during the declaration and approval work in 2009,the system had a smooth and efficient completion of the mission.This article is a summary of the development process .It describs not only the methods used in the development process but also the reasons why to use these methods.In order to facilitate discussion,this article is structured in accordance with the traditional software development processes arrangement.The delivery of the project to fill province's declaration and approval for going abroad work in the blank, improve the work efficiency.In the meantime,development encountered some problems,such as the system does not compatible with software that Ministry of Foreign Affairs promoted. But these problems have been beyond the technical areas, this article does not discuss that.Although the system currently meets the needs of customers, In the future there must be historical data statistics, historical data query requirements such as occurs with the accumulation of historical data, and this is also the system needs improvement in the future.At last, FAO of all of the country currently doesn't have a uniform software to handle this work, so standardization and unification of similar software will certainly be the general trend.
