SQL Server 2000, as an information managing system based on the Wide Area Network between the college and the enterprise, is adopted as the background database server. Functions as online information publishing, courseware uploading and downloading, automatic examination organizing and evaluating and online consultation are realized accordingly. Sub system can be submitted in with the username and password. Identities of system administrator, teacher and student are assigned accordingly, and the different identity is used to judge the rights of using the system.This system has 5 advantages: Firstly, it realizes the digitalization of online education, on which the students can self study the courseware or video files, communicate with classmates and consult the teachers, realizing the effects of a face-to-face training; secondly, it realizes the independent study. The students can arrange their time flexibly, learn the professional knowledge with internet and view news and information of the college and the enterprise; thirdly, it realizes the digitalization, computerization, automatic of testing, reducing the work burden of test organizing and evaluation of the teachers, as well as making sure the test is just and fair. Fourthly, it can help to save the data of the students more effectively, as the students and administrators can check their viewing history, cope with the learning progress, and knowing the real-time trends.
