Wireless sensor network(WSN) consists of a large number of cheap sensor nodes.These sensor nodes can exchange information each other by wireless communication so that they can work together to sensor,collect and deal information about the specific object in the observation region,and then send the information to the observer.For one thing, during the sensor's communication in WSN ,sensor must have strong processing ability because of the complexity of the multipath fading,shadow effects,path loss and Doppler frequency shift.For another,with the rapid development of the embedded device and the complexity of application,it is more and more difficult to develop program. Embedded operating system is one solution to this problem.It provides the software platform,so users can develop their own software above operating system without thinking over the hardware.The main content of this dissertation is to study the popular embedded operating system and its porting solution,and design the localization algorithm on the ported embedded operating system-SOS.In our project,the chip CC2431 is selected as the sensor node and also the hardware platform.This dissertation firstly introduces the hardware platform, then studys the popular embedded operating system,and finally designs the localization algorithm and experiment.This paper focuses on the following parts:1. Study the type of sensor node and its components. Summed up the main component of sensor node to prepare for the design and porting of embedded operating system.2. Study the current popular embedded operating systems,design a common solution for porting embedded operating system to embedded device. This paper ports the embedded operating system SOS(Shared Operating System) to the Chip CC2431 and sums up many parts which are needed to be paid attention to during this process.3. Based on the ported embedded operating system SOS and the hardware platform CC2431,this paper designs the localization algorithm for sensor node and the optimized solution to obtain the best parameter for CC2431 location engine.The optimized localization expands the location scope for the sensor node.4. Design an experiment and put it into practice.For one thing,it is to test the function and stability of all components of the ported embedded system,for another,to check the effectiveness of the localization algorithm.
