Scientifics to storage of grain is a very important step of producing grain.If administration of granary is improper, grain mildew or insect pest can bring a huge waste. The key problem of administration of granary is monitoring the temperature and humidity in grain stack. Because the inspecting equipments are expensive and the management methods are not advanced, the government expends largely on storage of grain every year.With the development of microelectronics, embedded, sensor and wireless communication technology, it becomes possible to design the lower price and advanced measure method of granary temperature and humidity.A kind of granary temperature and humidity monitor system based on wireless sensor network which combined with embedded, wireless communication, sensor and embedded network technology is designed in this paper. The system is centered on gateway node and many data collection terminals. These data collection terminals consist of some node which is wireless digita1 temperature and humidity sensor modules. The terminal nodes transmit temperature and humidity data to gateway node by wireless. Users access gateway node by Internet browser to get local and history data. Administrators can add or delete accounts and modify or set information of granary and parameters of embedded server.This paper particularly introduces and analyzes the design theory and realize method of software and hardware in embedded wireless granary temperature and humidity measure system. Wireless sensor modules adopt RF chip CC2420 and digital temperature and humidity sensors SHT11; Hardware of gateway node adopts ARM9 MPU S3C2410A and ethernet controller CS8900A to complete functions of embedded server; We adopt USB interface to connect U disk to store and backup large collection data constantly. In software, embedded operating system is Linux ,it is transplanted to S3C2410A;The web server which is running in the gateway node is based on TCP/IP Protocol stack;We uses CGI to realize dynamic web page and accesses fat 32 filesystem by USB interface.
