Research On Configuration Model And Its V&V In The Cycle Of M&S

Modeling and Simulation is a whole life cycle. Generally, M&S process consists of Requirement Analysis, Conceptual Modeling, Detailed Design, Coding Realization and Result Evaluation. Thereinto, Conceptual Modeling is a foundation of M&S, but it can't generally be used to code and implement, before that, it is necessary to carry out detailed design of simulation system, we call this stage Configuration Modeling. In order to guarantee that designing process reflects the content of Conceptual Modeling rightly and completely, and to guide for upper coding and simulating effectively, we should study on Configuration Model and its V&V.Firstly, M&S and VV&A process is analyzed, based on the Conceptual Modeling, concept and element of Configuration Model is researched, mapping process from Conceptual Modeling to Configuration Model is established, so the design stage of M&S is standarded. Then, the aim, principle and content of Configuration Model V&V is thoroughly analyzed, the V&V frame of Configuration Model is built, and the V&V process of Configuration Model is established via IDEF0, besides, V&V contents are pointed out: particular configuration, function realization entity, interface design, model semanteme and data verification, and corresponding V&Vmethods are studied deeply. To resolve the key problem of the frame——consistency ofinterface design of simulation component, propose the method of reachability graph validation. Transition arithmetic of automata machine to Petri net model and searching nodesis arithmetic of reachability graph are constructed to solve the problems of the method. Finally, taking the example of a network simulation system, the Configuration Model is verified and validated with the V&V process estabilished and V&V methods presented, which proves the rationality and feasibility of the process and the methods.
