The Study Of EAST Fast Control Power System Based On Force Control V6.0

The fast control power supply (FCPS), which is used to control the vertical displacement of plasma in EAST tokamak, is one part of the EAST high power supply system. The FCPS consists of 24 AC/DC/AC power modules in parallel, which virtually isa current supply with the characteristic of voltage source.The FCPS control system is a Windows2000 based control system. There are a lot of distributed signals to be acquired and monitored. In this paper, an Ethernet-based remote monitoring system is designed successfully. The system is constructed in PLC, various C-51 control boards and remote monitor-control PC with the industrial Ethernet network protocol. The PLC inspects the state signals of switches in real time, various analog signals and the state signals of FCPS will be acquired by the C-51 control boards before transmitted to the real-time database by TCP/IP protocolor, and finally shown in the PC man-machine panel programmed bycommercial Configuration Software ForceControl V6.0.In this paper, the configuration and monitor menu of the whole remote-control system is fulfilled, including the programme in PLC and communication in C-51 control boards. The structure that softwares and hardwares of the system is layouted commendably.It will detect and send out alarm signal in time, and also reserve data, remote monitor.Commissioning has been completed with good result, it run on EAST in this March.
