The Research And Development Of The Lotiform Open-Close Mould CAD System In The Glassware Press Machine

The key component of the glassware press machine is the open-close mould which helps the glassware's mold to open or close, for molding glassware which has complicated shape. According to the requirement of glassware market in our country, in this thesis, the new style open-close mould is designed by using Pro/E and integrated with the item of Tianjin government which is called "The research of the new style of the glassware press machine". This new style open-close mould, in this paper, is named lotiform open-close mould. Based on Pro/E, the main frame of the glassware press machine CAD system and the lotiform open-close mould CAD system are set up by the further development tools of Pro/E, making the fast design of the lotiform open-close mould CAD system realize and decreasing the period of the lotiform open-close mould's design.Concept design, entity modeling, dummy assembly, establishing dummy machine of the lotiform open-close mould are made by using Pro/E. Movement simulation of the lotiform open-close mould is made by using Pro/Mechanism, measuring the interference of this assembly.The structure of the glassware press machine and the theories of Pro/TOOLKIT arc researched in this thesis. The main frame of the glassware press machine is established. The database of the type of the glassware press machine is designed by using Access 2003, and a expert system is set up by combining the database manage system. The main interface of the glassware press machine CAD system is developed by VC. Actually, those in favor of developing the whole of the glassware press machine CAD system.The structure of the lotiform open-close mould CAD system and the parameterized parts database of the lotiform open-close mould are established in Pro/E; The parameterized design database of the lotiform open-close mould is established by using Access 2003; The application program of this system compiled by using Pro/TOOLKIT and VC makes the friendly interface come true.Finally, the main frame of the glassware press machine CAD system and the lotiform open-close mould CAD system which is a part of the glassware press machine CAD system are set up by realizing the seamless integration among each application module, database module and Pro/E system through Pro/TOOLKIT interface program design and ODBC which is the technology about integrating between MFC and ACCESS.In this design, by further development of Pro/E and established expert system, the design of the glassware press machine is become easier, and the design speed of the lotiform open-close mould is become less than traditional design.
