The structure and parameter of an injection mould base are weak theory and strong experience field. They depend largely on the experience and knowledge of an engineer. So it has significant economy value to collect the knowledge and experience into CAD to shorten the designing cycle and share the in formation between designers. In addition, Current CAD system can not support the domestic mould base standard that results in many limits in professional application. The research is to develop an injection mould base design system on the platform of commercial CAD according to the requirements of domestic mould industry to enhance the efficiency of mould design and make use of existed software resource.Based on the analysis of flow work of injection mould manufacturing and structural feature of mould base, a general mould base design system model for knowledge reasoning is presented. Running on a platform of commercial CAD, intelligent reasoning technique has been integrated with CAD, which provides a valuable application reference for commercial CAD to get professional design. In terms of the rule-based reasoning theory, the methods for realizing design checking under given plastic product have been discussed. The representation model of the mould knowledge with case-based reasoning method was built. The algorithm of case index and comparability selection was used in the system. By object oriented technology and case concept, rule knowledge can be defined well in this professional application. One of uniform injection mould base coding methods was introduced into the system, which can define both of national mould base standard and enterprise own mould base. The parametric modeling methods for variety of mould parts drawing, and the interactive way for maintaining part library have also been studied in this thesis.Intelligent CAD may be the developing trend of CAD. It involves in many theories and subjects which is at the exploration stage. The research is to make a try of professional application of mould CAD; the purpose is to enhance the efficiency of mould design, and to get equivalent skill for a youngling designer. |
