Satellite communication with his wide coverage,large capacity and wide-bandwidth characteristics are widely used in various fields.Satellite communication indoor access unit is a part of the satellite communication system ground terminal,which is used to realized the function of network data processing,routing,transmitting and network management.In this paper,the realization of the satellite communications IP data processing system based on the MPC8270 and Linux-2.6 is discussed and the following are main work:1. Based on analysis of Linux device drivers' character, class, architecture and function, the interrupt of Linux and some function which are relative to interrupt are discussed. Then the design process of the MPC8270 embedded conrtollers is described particularly in this paper and finally, the I~2C device driver and SCC CISCO HDLC network device driver are implemented.2. The system adopts the "microprocessor + FPGA" structure,in which MPC8270 processor communicates with FPGA using the memory mapping mechanisms.this paper details the design and implementation of the static random access memory on the XC3S1500 FPGA and based on this.the Linux XC3S1500 FPGA device driver is implemented.This paper also discusses the design and implementation of the SPI bus controller on XC3S1500 FPGA in detail,including the control module,data sending module,data receiving module and the frequency generation module.At present, the actual tests show that the system can meet both the data processing and the real-time requirements of the satellite communication terminal indoor unit and the system also has good intercommunication.
