Analysis And Design Of The Documents Cooperative Editing System

Ways that have always been used for compilation,commitment,examination and approval of documents are traditional and artificial. This kind of process has several shortcomings, e.g., inefficiency, low confidentiality, etc. As people are stepping into the age of Internet, automation of office is becoming a part of our work. Therefore, to implement cooperative editing of text documents with computer technology, to compile and commit documents with computers and to examine and approval documents with Internet resources can be a great help to the management of documents of enterprises.This article has completed the overall system design and the basic realization,and the system realizes the function of edition, revision, examination and approval consult. In order to realize this goal ,we have done massive research and the analysis on the foundation of grasping correlation technology in and so on local area network establishment and database principle.This article has mainly carried on following several aspect work:1.Analgy the current method of the archives edition and the present situation of the enterprise.2.Grasp the technology of local area network and the principle of database.3.Analgy the goal of archives coordination edition and determine the function of the system composition.4.Design the basic function module of archives coordination edition and clear about each elementary operation which it must realize.5.Complete the particular design of flow programming of documents coordination edition system.6.Test the function of the archives coordination edition system which has been designed .In the developing process, we use the Power Designer to design database, the Access to establish backstage database, the Visual Basic6.0 to develop the application program, and the model of Client/Sever with that we cope with data.The cooperative editing system of text document can provide users with convenient environment of operation that can fulfill the requirement of information and provide a more efficient way of collecting information. So, the new system has advantage that traditional and artificial management models can not compare with, e.g., high dependability, good confidentiality, and low cost.
