Mobile Broadband Wireless Access System And Management Information Modeling

WiMAX is a Broadband Wireless Access technology based on IEEE802.16. With the evolution of WiMAX network standards and the business development of WiMAX, equipment, technology and topology structure of network will be constantly changing. These will bring a great challenge to WiMAX network management. Currently, WiMAX network management research is still in development, especially for the network management of mobile WiMAX network. Therefore, mobile WiMAX network management has also become a hot issue of network management that need to be resolved.Information management model is the core of the network management research, and is also the foundation of building a network management system. Setting up a good model of information management can greatly improve the work efficiency of the network management system and guarantee its flexibility. Therefore, it is of great importance to study WiMAX network information management models for mobile broadband wireless access network management.The main content of this article is analyzing the relevant characteristics of the mobile broadband wireless access system and modeling the mobile WiMAX. The main research subjects are as the following:1) Introducing the mobile WiMAX key technology and the current situation of WiMAX network management research; with the analysis of the existing modeling method for the network management, presenting the modeling method which is suitable for the mobile WiMAX Interface.2) Analyzing the effects of the Mobile WiMAX network architecture on modeling network management; posing the mobile broadband access network management needs; discussing the characteristics of Mobile WiMAX management needs from two aspects: the QoS and the mobility.3) Completing the design of network management model for the IEEE802.16e-based mobile broadband wireless access network management; presenting the functional requirements of network management common interface and completing the definition of performance indicators and configuration network resource model.This paper set up a management model for the mobile broadband wireless access system, which can provide data basis for WIMAX network resource optimization, network function analysis and business management, and can be applied to the design and development of WiMAX Network Management System Interface.
