With the rapid development of computer technology,digital processing technology and image compress technology, broadcasting television has making great strides towards new area of digital television. The research on digital television is becoming one of the most important ones in the international high technology research fields because of its huge potential market and economic profit. Evaluation,testing has always been one of important work of broadcasting and television projects, and visual test pattern provides an intuitionistic and convenient evaluating method, and make it easier for television works to understand the run conditions of the system or equipment, and make it been widely used. With the popularization of digital TV in our country, research and production of integrated test pattern suitable for the digital TV is of great significance. In some cases, we may need to transmit the result image to other place for further treatment, while the original image data is very large, so in order to reduce data transmission bandwidth, we need to lossless compress the image before the transmission.Huffman coding is a basic arithmetic of many image coding standards, but it has a shortcoming of slow coding and decoding. This paper gives a fast Huffman compress and decompresses method based on the traditional Huffman coding method, and Implementation the method on the TI DSP Integrated development environment CCS, and optimize it according to the hardware. The experimental result shows that the time of compression or decompression is achieve the desired objectives, and it guarantees the real-time transmission and coding of digital image. Then introduce the design of several interference detection algorithms, which include image fuzzy detection, image interference detection, image character detection and test pattern feature detection. Then we generate a standard definition digital TV integrated test pattern in accordance with Broadcasting, Film and Television industry draft standard Test pattern for standard definition television broadcasting. And finally introduce the design and implementation interference detection.
