The Study Of The Present Development Status Of China Podcasting Websites

Unconsciously ,the theory of Web2.0 becomes popular in China. Among all those new technologies and new applications of Web2.0 in China ,Podcasting is the shining nova after Weblog. Since after decades of development ,the running-system of Chiese Internet is mature now ,so the birth-to-mature period of every new application now becomes shorter and shorter.Podcasting was first introduced into China in 2005, then it went through the blooming time in 2006,harsh survival competition in 2007 ,then content-crisis and policy-crisis in the very beginning of 2008. The industry of video-sharing websites itself experienced the process of concentration during the developmental period . Numerous small video-sharing websites founded it the year 2006 and then closed in the year 2007, it was the period of birth-bloom-survive. Before 2010, those video-sharing websites will still face various challenges until the whole industry enter the steady develop period.In the other side, the daily increased popularity of podcasting in China attracts the notification of the government .All those new policies established in 2008 are clear evidence to this. With the establishing of all these new policies in 2008,thoese podcasting websites which survived will face another round of competition. In this thesis ,I mainly focused on discussing the contents and running-system of Chinese video-sharing websites ,and by analyzing the new policies established by the government and the experts'opinions in this domain , I would like to give a clear developing history and trend of Chinese video-sharing websites.
