The electronics product market has changed into buyer's market completely during these years, which requires more product categories, the shorter product life,the lower product cost and the higher product quality. But the product defects high frequency happening impacts the customer satisfaction seriously.After analysis of process defects in electronics product line, this thesis figured out it was human error that caused most defects. At the same time, it analyzed the cause why the human errors happened in high frequency and proposed the method to reduce the human errors by error-proofing techniques. Based on the error-proofing principle and Shop Floor Integrated System principle, it bought two error-proofing methods for electronics product line. One is process error-proofing design based on error-proofing sets and the other one is system error-proofing design based on Shop Floor Integrated System. Based Analytical Hierarchy Process, it also provided a method to evaluate the error-proofing solutions by calculating the different factors with different weight, which is an effective method to select the error- proofing solution systemically.Finally, by the design and execution of error-proofing solution, the application of these two error–proofing methods formed an overall error-proofing network on electronics product line in Company A, which reduced the process defects significantly caused by human errors. This also proved the application result of the error-proofing techniques on electronics product line.
