This topic is a study of signaling system No.7 Signaling Connection Control Part. It gives a solution of routing algorithm based on global title. The background of this topic is a new software development in S12 system. In this article, author fully taken the limitation of the old system hardware capability and the new requirement of system capacity into account and finally provided a new system design in not only architecture solution but software detail implement in code and database.At first, it gives a clear overview of advantages of S12 distributed system in hardware and software and how this architecture ensures the stability of the system. Then we will discuss what the limitation of the old system is and where we have to improve to qualify the new requirements? And other concerns which we must consider during the system design are also discussed in this part.Then the author puts general information about mobile communication system, basic concept of SCCP and all necessary key information for quick routing algorithm down, including introduction of message routing on Global Title, and describes the ideas of the system design and quick routing algorithm.In the third part, we give the system detailed design which could balance in system resource consumption and quick routing requirements. Besides some detailed design, we give solutions in how Global Title data is stored in database, necessary software architecture, how to choose quick routing algorithm and how to implement in software code. At last, we discuss our lab test model and result, which will simulate the real running environment to verify our design. In the first step, author tested how efficient the algorithm we choose against other ones in PC code. In the second step, the author gives a new test environment which is to simulate online application and based on stress test to verify the stability of the new design. With huge system test report and analyzed result, we believe the new system could totally qualify the commercial application.The new software release now is installed onsite mobile communication system after success of lab test. Upon feedback from customer, it runs well and efficiently in mobile communication network.
