Application And Reserch Of The Coal Industry Pump Automation Control System

With the development of China's coal mining technology, some large-scale modernization of coal mines continued to product with high efficiency and intensification. With the increasingly improve of production equipment and control facilities, the monitoring technology which related to production safety of coal mine closely is constantly improving and enhancing. It has been developed from single environment safety monitoring to general automation monitoring of the whole coal mine. On the other hand,with the enhancing of production intensification, it is necessary to improve the stability and the reliability of the production equipment, it also needs the monitoring of equipment condition achieve the real-time, accurate and rapid response.Traditional manual management system has a series of questions. For example, the large number of workers, the low cost-effectiveness, the maintenance of equipment management, and the energy waste. In order to effectively overcome these flaws, and raise the integrated management level of the enterprise, this paper takes the control system of pump as the example, according to the characteristics of coal mine, opening up the control system of pump based on the PLC and Supervision Control and Data Acquisition,which use the modern computer network technology, the field bus and database technology.According the practical situation of mine, the system makes the automation transformation that based on the original establishment. In order to let equipments can run and diagnose by themselves,the system integrate computer technology with automatic control technology, which is used in the coal mine automatic draining and the remote monitoring on the ground. Based on ensuring the reliability and security, the system uses PLC, sensors, electrical (electromagnetic) valve, industrial PC and other essential equipments for automatic checking and controlling the running status and procedure of the pump equipments, making the equipments achieve the best status. It can effectively save energy and improve the operation of coal mine management, reduce operating costs, extend equipments'life, reduce the labor intensity of staff, improve information transfer and analysis capabilities, sequentially promote the level of automation production.Pump control system, which depends on the PLC, has automatic and manual control functions. It collects many signals, including water level, pressure, vacuum, temperature, voltage and current, and so on, to determine whether achieve the automatic run or stop conditions and control the pump and the associated equipments.Through the Industrial Ethernet, the system transmits data to the ground control center, and obtains the pump's voltage and current parameter by OPC from the electric power subsystem, then integrates them into pump monitoring system. So, the monitoring system can remote monitor and control the underground equipment on the ground.
