5.12 Wenchuan earthquake caused great damage and loss to life, economy and transportation system. During this disaster, most of the buildings, public facilities and roads in disaster-area have been completely destroyed, and some of the original map has not been sufficient to express the characterization of the actual situation. Therefore, there is an urgent need to improve and update existing records and space map information. The collection system provides an effective means of data collection, entry and processing for disaster-area reconstruction. Consequently, the study of the reconstruction of collection system has a great research value.Based on eSuperMap, the thesis researches and designs the framework of the disaster-area reconstruction information collection system, and describes the system design principles and methods. Furthermore, the thesis proposes a combination of GIS with GPS technology, and adopts SQL CE as the data storage. In addition, the RDA technology has been used to implement the connection between the intelligent devices which contain the information collection system and the servers. Initial success has been achieved the informationization in data collection, data exchange, and data storage of disaster-area. Meanwhile, the thesis completed the work as follows:1. Based on the research background and objectives, the thesis studies the key technologies of the system, and determines the specific development platform and technology roadmap.2. Through the thorough analysis of the actual situation in disaster-area, the thesis proposes the overall system architecture design. Meanwhile, the thesis designs the system functions on the base of the reconstruction process. Taking the information to be colleted and the current network status into consideration, the thesis proposes the solutions for the database and the data exchange function module. 3. The thesis analyses the data formats and map storage method of the eSuperMap, and prepared the map data according to the requirement.4. Based on functional requirements analysis, the thesis designs and implements the system function in details such as map display, spatial analysis,GPS and navigation, layer editing, data collection and data exchange functions. The system testing shows that the system's various functions basiclly meet the demand. The thesis studies the architecture of the disaster-area reconstruction information collection system based on eSuperMap, and proposes the systemic design theory and methods. It also implements a complete and practical disaster-area reconstruction information collection system. The system provides a efficient, reasonable and convenient way and a visual application platform for the data collection, analysis and extracting of reconstruction including specific planning, relief s distribution and ruin' s state research in disaster areas.
