Design And Development Of Sieving Coke And Dust Removal Control System

Iron and steel industry is the key industries of China's national economy,which is also seriously polluted industries. With the implementation of environmental policies and the enhancement of people's environmental consciousness, there are more and more requirements to the effect of sieving coke. How to solve the problem of dust pollution during sieving coke effectively and downright has arose highly recognition in each coking company.This article takes some coking company's coking process for example. It firstly introduces the technical process of coking production and basic configuration of ControlLogix system produced by Allen-Bradley company , expatiates feasibility of the application of the programmable controller in the coking dust removal control system in detail. Some problems based on the working flows of the coking process are analyzed and the control functions are put forward, research and design methods for sieving coke and dust removal system are put forward. Then the whole structure of the systems including the hardware and software frame is built. Through the PLC networks, make up of a two levels computer control system using ControlNet.A new process control system ControlLogix is adopted as the developing platform, real-time supervision systems are developed under windows and the industrial configuration software RSView Studio to get and store the data. The ControlLogix automatic system as the control units realizes the process control, receives the local sensor signals with the distributed I/O.The article provided the system debugging steps and methods. The system has been successfully used in the coking company and last several months. During the running time there are no trouble happening and the system has good real-time stop. The practice shows that the system fundamentally guarantees the stability of sieving coke and dust removal system and carries out production automation.
