As an necessary constitute of satellite platform, Electrical Power Subsystem plays an important role in ensuring the security and reliability of payloads and other subsystems. And at the same time EPS is an decisive factor of the satellite's life in orbit. Research on the simulation of EPS is an important part for starting the development of EPS. In this paper sufficient studies have been made n the semi-physical simulation of satellite EPSFirstly abundant researches were made including the inland and overseas development of satellite EPS, all mathematics and semi-physical simulation of EPS. Then modeling of solar array, power controller and storage battery were made based on this with a certain satellite targeted., and the performance of models were validated .Subsequently the scheme designing of semi-physical simulating system for EPS was completed and semi-physical simulator of EPS was developed later associated with DC power supply, DC electronic load and power controller based on the mathematical model. Finally the system was validated with a background project taken as an example. The results indicated that the semi-physical simulation system of EPSUsing the results achieved in this paper we can verify the functions and performance of EPS, find designing bugs, so that we can improve the design and realize the whole optimizing design of satellite. So the semi-physical simulation system of EPS has tremendous applying value in engineering.
